Cloverdale Cuban for a Crowd

  • 1 large loaf take-and-bake ciabatta bread, sliced in half
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 cups shredded pork (buy prepared, use leftovers or make your own in a crock pot)
  • 2 banana peppers, sliced
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 1 package thin-sliced Cloverdale ham
  • 6 plank-sliced pickles


Place ciabatta bread on work surface.

Spread both slices of bread with mustard.

Arrange pork over bottom half of bread.

Top with banana peppers and four slices of swiss cheese.

Arrange Cloverdale ham slices on top of cheese, overlapping to cover sandwich.

Place four more slices of swiss across sandwich.

Layer pickles on top of sandwich.

Close sandwich with top half of ciabatta.

Place sandwich on baking dish.

Place in oven and bake 20 minutes or until heated through.

Remove sandwich from oven and allow to cool a few minutes prior to cutting into six even slices.

Serve warm.

Recipe serves six and can be prepared in about 30 minutes.
