Cheesy Mustard Ham Egg Bake

  • Cooking Spray
  • 8 cups loaf of artisan white bread, cut into cubes (gluten-free bread such as Udi’s works great)
  • 2 cups Cloverdale ham, diced
  • 2 cups grated gruyere or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Spray a 9x12 glass baking dish with cooking spray. Layer two-thirds of bread cubes in the bottom of the pan. Top with ham and cheese. Place remaining bread cubes on top. Sprinkle with parsley.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustards, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Beat to combine. Pour over bread mixture.

Cover pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place egg bake in oven and bake 50-60 minutes or until eggs are set. Allow to sit for 5 minutes prior to cutting and serving.
