Firecracker Lil Smokies


  • 12 slices Cloverdale Applewood Smoked or Pepper Bacon
  • 36 Cloverdale Lil Smokie Sausages
  • 1 cup prepared bottled jalapeno jelly
  • 36 toothpicks


Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.

Place bacon on work surface. Cut into thirds. Wrap bacon around each Cloverdale Lil Smokie Sausage. Secure with a toothpick. Place half of jalapeno jelly in a ramekin and place on serving platter. Brush remaining jelly on bacon-wrapped smokies. Place pan in the oven and bake 20-30 minutes, or until bacon is crisp. Place on serving platter and serve with reserved jalapeno jelly.

Recipe makes 36 smokies. Recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a large crowd.

HINT: To increase heat of Firecracker smokies, place a pickled jalapeno slice inside wrapped Smokie.
