A decision to close Cloverdale offices due to inclement weather shall be at the discretion of the President and CEO or his or her designee, who will make the necessary arrangements to notify employees.
Cloverdale will not make closure announcements on radio or TV stations. All delays or closures will be communicated via the Cloverdale Hotline and the Cloverdale website.
Should an employee choose not to attend work due to inclement weather when Cloverdale is open, that employee will have that time off charged to PTO, if they so choose, or unpaid if the employee has no PTO. If Cloverdale is closed due to inclement weather, employees will not be compensated but may elect to use PTO for the day.
If a storm day is declared, all hourly employees who work (scheduled shifts or fill-ins) will be compensated at a rate of 1.5 times their normal pay.
